Be transported back in time,
with the food, stories and music of the beloved
Little House on the Prairie books written by Laura Ingalls Wilder.

WHEN: Sunday, October 18th from 6pm-8:30pm
WHERE: St. Lawrence Catholic Church Posch Center
420 South Prairie Street, Greenville, IL

Meet our Autumn Dinner Storyteller, Linda Dust:
After years of dabbling in folk music, Linda Dust became a fan of storytelling and began attending concerts and festivals.  It wasn't much  of a leap from singing Folk Ballads to telling Folk Tales.  The opportunity presented itself for her to take to the stage at an open mic event at the Prairie Tales Storytelling Festival at Lincoln's New Salem State Park. She told her first story and sang a ballad.  That was the beginning of a journey that has led to many and varied performances in front of small and large audiences as far away as The Bitter End in Greenwich Village, New York.  She has told stories at festivals in Cape Girardeau, Missouri and Peoria, Illinois,   doing concerts in front of audiences of all ages.  Her stories include folk tales from a variety of cultures and personal and historic tales of her family. Linda has titled the presentation she will be bringing to the dinner,
"From Ballads to Stories ...  Little House on the Prairie Style".

Posters for the event are going up!
