Tim Hastings, a freelance writer and founder of Testaments, an oral history writing service,  shared his father's (Robert J. Hastings) wit and wisdom (as well as excerpts from his father's book, "A Nickel's Worth of Skim Milk") presented as Lessons Learned from the Great Depression.

Terry Winkelmann of Slow Food St. Louis and the St. Louis Sustainable Backyard Tour, shared her experience with the Sustainable Backyard Tour (and how each of us can create a more sustainable backyard) as well as her enthusiasm for healthy eating and living
(which in turn contributes to a healthy planet).
